About this object
View of a room at Nesbitt Cottage, Seapoint Road, designed by J A Louis Hay in 1910. Showing one wall of a room, the centrepiece of the photograph is a brick fireplace with a timber surround. Built-in bookcases form part of the fireplace. The mantelpiece is decorated with vases of flowers, photographs and ornaments. A table is located in the left foreground. The wall behind the fireplace is lined with timber panelling. This room was possibly the dining room.
