About this object
A photograph of people in Elizabethan and other costumes, taken at the Havelock North Shakespearean Pageant. Children in the foreground of the image have their backs to the camera.People seated on horses are at the right of the group. The image is taken on the Havelock North village green. The steeple of St Columba's Presbyterian Church can be seen in the background.

The pageant was organised by The Havelock Work group, and took place on 20 November 1912. Proceeds were to go towards liquidating debentures on the Village Hall.
