About this object
A formal studio portrait of a woman in a Victorian outfit standing by a table. The woman is identified as maybe being Mrs D'Arcy. There is a name written on a piece of paper with the photograph and it is very difficult to decipher the writing. She would have been connected to Donald McLean's family.

The ensemble she is wearing is made up of a skirt and jacket. The jacket is trimmed with ribbon to accentuate the garment's lines.

Photographer, unknown.
Date, 1870s.
