View of the Soundshell (designed by J T Watson, built 1935) taken from the Skating Rink looking towards the stage. In the centre of the stage a person stands at a microphone, possibly playing a horn. People watch the performance from the stage and from the forecourt in front of the stage. The Soundshell has been decorated with New Zealand flags.
