About this object
View of the Veronica Sunbay (built 1934), designed by J T Watson. Taken from the north end of the structure looking towards the sea, the photograph is thought to have been taken in the 1930s. In the foreground, a woman in a pale-coloured dress poses in front of the Sunbay. The bell from the HMS Veronica is visible to the right, where is hangs in the central bay of the structure.
