View of Marine Parade at night taken from the roof of the Municipal Baths looking south. On the extreme left of the image stands the Tom Parker Fountain (1936). In the distance are the Veronica Sunbay (built 1934) and the Soundshell (built 1935), designed by J T Watson. A band plays in the Soundshell. People are gathered around the Tom Parker Fountain. The nearby Norfolk Island Pines are decorated with lights.
