Included is a list of men engaged in the search through McGruer's building, Emerson Street where four bodies were found. Francis Henry Wester's body was found in the search of Bestall's Limited, Hasting Street. Three men were engaged to bury the body of Henry Odgen at Park Island. Digging under Bluff Hill slip with no result. Memo for file, 40 men engaged in searching for bodies, all men not Napier residents, ordered to leave 23 February 1931.
