Brief Description
Cadastral map of Napier. Noted missing - May 2017. CD

Shows land lots, numbers, roads, railway lines and places of interests from Beach Road, Marine Parade, Scinde Island, Ahuriri, Western Spit, Goa Bay, Corunna Bay and Wellesley Road.

The immigration reserve is located on the corner of Coote Road and Marine Parade. The Catholic schools are shown fronting Shakespeare Road and Cobden Road. Munroe Street, Raffle Street and Thackeray Street are noted, which was reclaimed from swamp by Berry and Anderson in February 1878.

Napier Boys School is noted fronting Clyde Road. Watt's wharf and HB wharf is noted at the Napier harbour, near the outer wharf and Eastern Mole, at the Iron Pot. Railway Quay and the bridge over to the Iron Pot are shown leading on to Waghorne Street . There is a hotel listed on the corner of Waghorne Street on lot number 522B. Messrs Wall, Stuart and Richardson are adjacent land occupiers on lots 516, 517 and 518 respectively, fronting the Iron Pot and wharves.

The Criterion Hotel is on the corner of Emerson Street and Hastings Street. Oddfellows Hall fronts Tennyson Street.
A Melanesian mission is shown on the corner of Havelock Road and Delhi Street. G T Hotel is next to the railway station.
