About this object
A photograph depicting the construction of the waste water outfall line for Hastings.
The photograph is taken on the foreshore near Haumoana and Clive.
A crane is visible on the foreshore elevated on logs, away from the sea line . Three men are visible in the photograph. One is leaning out of the crane’s cabin, seemingly manoeuvring the crane into place.
There are wooden barriers down where the sea is breaking onto the shore. Cape Kidnappers is visible in the background.
