About this object
Panoramic view of Marine Parade looking towards the sea thought to have been taken around 1937. On the extreme left of the photograph are the Marine Parade gardens (designed by Stanley Natusch and J A Louis Hay). The Kirk Sundial is located at the south end of the gardens. To the right of the gardens stands the Veronica Sunbay (designed by J T Watson, built 1934) and the Soundshell (designed by J T Watson, built 1935). Two women can be seen walking across the forecourt.
