This photograph depicts the Foresters' Hall on Dickens Street in Napier.
This Spanish mission style building, designed by Napier architect D B Frame, was constructed in 1919 as the Ancient Order of Foresters' district building. Made of reinforced concrete, the structure survived the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February.
The photographer is thought to be Frank L Moodie, architect.
