About this object
View of Marine Parade looking towards Bluff Hill possibly taken in the 1930s. The left side of the esplanade is lined with Norfolk Island Pine trees and park benches. The Napier Courthouse (designed by William Henry Clayton, completed 1875) is visible on the extreme left of the image. The Municipal Baths are visible further along Marine Parade. The area to the south of the baths has been grassed and gardens planted.
