This photograph depicts the Municipal Baths on Marine Parade in Napier after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February 1931.

The photograph looks south down Marine Parade. There is visible damage to the façade of the Municipal baths. Norfolk Pines are visible at the edge of the frame.

The photographer is thought to have been Frank L Moodie, architect.
