The Public Trust Office is visible on the corner of Dalton and Tennyson Street in the foreground of the image. To the right of the Public Trust office are the business premises of Canning and Loudoun.
On the left hand side of Dalton Street Murdoch's Bakery is visible.
On the right hand side of the image the steeple of St Patrick's Catholic church is evident above the general building line.
There are cars and a motor bus in the foreground.
