About this object
A photograph of West Quay and the end of the Western Spit showing the entrance channel to the Inner Harbour, Ahuriri. The North British and Hawke's Bay Freezing Works are visible on the Western Spit edge. Ships are moored along West Quay. The photograph is taken from inside the Inner Harbour looking back through the channel out to the bay. A channel sounding marker is visible in the centre of the image.
