About this object
A photograph of Ahuriri taken at 3.30pm on 9 January 1931 from Hospital Hill. West Quay is visible at the left of the image with ships moored along the quay. A truck is visible on Hyderabad Road heading toward Bridge Street. The Hawke's Bay Farmers' Co-operative Association building is evident on West Quay, with Dalgety's Wool Store in the distance. A Williams and Kettle building is seen near the centre of the image by the edge of the lagoon.
