The land is to be auctioned at the Municipal Theatre, Waipukurau on Thursday May 26, 1938. The auctioneers are under instructions from the trustee, executor and agency branch of the New Zealand Insurance Co Ltd to sell.
There are 3 land blocks of sizes from 937 acres to 1,367 acres around the road from Waipukurau to Blackhead. The estate of Sir George Hunter has other land bordering the blocks for sale at the East side. The estate of G E Hunter has land at the North East , H Parsons, C Bird, Mr Stoddart, Mr Patullo, the estate of H Limpus and W Rickey have adjacent land on the Western side. Mr Patullo's land borders the road to Waipukurau.
