About this object
A photograph of Mr J Vigor Brown's jetty at Westshore. It was left high and dry after the 3 February 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake.
In the image there is a low pool of water near the jetty. The pool is next to a structure with a large metal star hanging from it, possibly a water level guide.
