Brief Description
Plan of the Te Mahanga Estate land for sale.
The balance of the land is to be subdivided.
The property of the executors of the late W J Douglas.
Ten chains to the inch.

The land is to be auctioned on Saturday November 17, 1928. Dalgety & Co Ltd and De Pelichet, McLeod & Co Ltd - auctioneers. These portions of which have been held by the Douglas family for over 50 years is to be sold in two blocks.

The land lots with area sizes - block 1, situated 7 miles from Hastings and 1 mile from Pakipaki railway station and the other block, including Mrs K C White's residence consist of 12 subdivisions, situated 9 1/2 miles from Hastings and 1 mile from the Poukawa railway station. The land forms 1,000 acres of hill country and 1,400 acres of flat rich land. Mrs K C White's residence consists of 18 rooms in total being a billiard room, study and 10 bedrooms.

F H R Gilbertson, J Moughan and M R Phillips have adjoining land to the South East, bordering the land for sale at the top of the ridge, near the public road to Poukawa railway station. J W Stuckey and D L Duncan have adjoining land bordering lots 2 & 4. C D Buddo adjoins Mr Phillips at the South end, bordering lot 7 and the public road. J W Stuckey, H Greenfield, W R Fleming and A D Bewick are adjacent fruit growers at the North end bordering lot 1 and the Napier to Wellington railway line.

J H Couper, E J Harvey and W A Bell have adjacent land bordering block 13 which is 2 miles further North. C C Thompson, T J Thompson have adjoining land at the West side of lot 14 and the Poukawa Stream. Mutiny Road bisects lot 14 and lot 15.
