About this object
An image of Westshore Footbridge taken from the Inner Harbour near West Quay, Port Ahuriri. The photograph was taken around 1920.

The image looks back toward the ranges rather than out through the inner harbour to the bay.

Battery Point is visible to the left of the image. A small vessel is also moored alongside the bridge in the left foreground of the image.

The structure is in a near state of collapse in several parts. There are several figures visible on the bridge.

The ranges are discernable in the distance behind the bridge.
