The land is to be auctioned at auction on Friday, 27 July 1928. Hoadley, Son & Stewart Ltd are to be the auctioneers.
The land fronts Emerson Street. The premises in Tennyson Street that were recently occupied by Archibald Clark & Sons Ltd have become available and Ross & Glendining have secured an option on the building, therefore they are wanting to sell their current premises.
Ross & Glendining currently own lot1 of the premises to be sold. The proposed new site of the Post Office is noted on the corner of Hastings Street and Dickens Street. Lot 2 is occupied by Toscan & Co.
