About this object
A photograph of Port Ahuriri and Westshore taken from the Hospital, Hospital Hill, Napier, circa 1920. In the image the buildings on the hill below Hospital Terrace, West Quay and the end of Port Ahuriri, the Inner Harbour and settlements on the Western Spit or Westshore are visible. Woolstores are evident along the West Quay. Sailing boats are moored off Meeanee Point on the Western Spit and the bridge between West Quay and the Western Spit is visible at the left of the image.
