An image of Ahuriri and Westshore taken from Hospital Hill in 1920. The houses in the foreground are possibly on Goldsmith Terrace. The North British and Hawke's Bay Freezing Works are visible on the Western Spit with the private wharf jutting out into the bay. The end of the wharf joining West Quay and Westshore is visible above the hill at the left of the image.
