About this object
An early image of Westshore and Port Ahuriri taken from Hospital Hill. Gough and Māori Island are visible as separate land masses before reclamation of the area and the development of West Quay. Ships are visible moored at the Iron Pot. The Western Spit has few if any buildings on it.
