Brief Description
Lists of companies, businesses and individuals whose accounts have been passed for payment. The number 2 is stamped on the cover.
The forms are bound in the top left corner. The lists are in reverse chronological order, from the last payment, 20 January 1932, to the earliest 9 March 1931.
The lists are variously labelled: Accounts Passed by Claims Sub-Committee for Submission to Relief Committee to Approve Payment; List of Claims Passed by General Committee at its Meeting; and List of Accounts regarding Grants for Personal Losses by Fire, for Approval of Committee.
Some of the lists relate to the expenditure documents, submitted to the Napier Earthquake Relief Fund Committee for refunding. The accounts included paid vouchers, pay sheets and gratuity sheets from the Borough of Napier, Napier Earthquake Relief Committee, as well as claim forms, memos, invoices, order forms, receipts, statements, packing slips and letters from both businesses and individuals, related to the Napier earthquake.
