About this object
A photograph of the Iron Pot taken circa 1920. The photograph is taken from the boardwalk, or current day Bridge Street, looking out toward the Western Spit. There are sailing boats in the foreground moored beside the boardwalk. One of the boats is labelled: Auckland.

Trawling boats are lined along the right hand side of the Iron Pot berthing area. Vessels are moored on either side of the wharves. Houses and buildings are visible in the distance on the Western Spit.
