About this object
A photograph of vessels moored at the Iron Pot and buildings along the wharf. The photograph is taken from the position of current day Bridge Street at the end of the Iron Pot looking North West. The building in the centre behind the vessels in dock is the Port Post Office building opened in 1903 and in operation until 1931. The Prebbles, Transport and Shipping buildings purchased by Barry Brothers in 1907 are on either side of the Post Office.
