This photograph depicts St Paul's Presbyterian Church, located at the end of Dalton Street in Napier, after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February 1931.

Although the outer walls are still standing, cracks can be seen on the church in the left of the photograph and the roof has been destroyed.

The photographer is thought to be Frank Moodie.
