Airgraph message from Captain R R Mace to Mrs R Hawley, dated 18 September of an unknown year. The original envelope is also included with this message.
a) An airgraph message in which Captain RR Mace thanks Mrs R Hawley for her last letter and mentions his pleasure in receiving mail while in hospital. He writes that he will have to wait until his return to New Zealand before being fitted for his new feet and that he is pleased to hear that her family is keeping well and growing up. At the end of the letter he asks that she not bother to write again as he'll be back soon.
b) The envelope reads: On His Majesty's Service, Airgraph Message, New Zealand Post Office, Postage Paid. There is no postmark.
