About this object
An image of Ahuriri and the Napier Hills taken from the beach on the Western Spit. The Petane Bridge linking West Quay and the Western Spit cuts through the middle of the image separating the lagoon from the hill and Ahuriri area. Behind the bridge in the middle of the photograph Kinross and Company's business is evident, dating the image between 1862 and 1889.
