The land is to be auctioned by the Farmers Co-Operative Auctioneering Co Ltd with Lewis & Co of Wanganui at Tirau on Tuesday July 27, 1920.
The land was formerly farmed by Mr R H Bailey for the last 20 years and is situated at Tirau on the main railway line and 1/2 mile from the railway station and around the main road to Cambridge. The land has wintered 800 to 900 steers and 1,700 ewes and 115 lambs. The Hora Hora hydro electric works will be supplying the town with light and power, also for the machinery at the farm, expected in the near future. Mr Woolven will be on hand to conduct prospective purchasers to the land for sale.
