About this object
A photograph of Petane School with pupils and staff posed for a formal photograph outside the building. Augustus Hamilton, the Master and later curator of Napier Museum, stands by the door. A D Tuxford stands in the bun hat to the far right. The three Miss Tuxfords are sitting apart at the left. The fence of the school premises is in the foreground of the picture, and the hillocks are in the background.
