Brief Description
Plan of Tauherenikau - Moroa land for sale.
To be subdivided into 11 farms from 66 acres to 195 acres in size. Originally 1,220 acres.

The land lots are to be sold by auction at the Forestor's Hall, Greytown on Monday June 14, 1914. Abraham & Williams Ltd with G H Perry & Co Ltd - auctioneers.

The land lots and area sizes are situated in the center of dairying districts and adjoins Greytown borough and is 5 miles from Featherston, and the Greytown - Woodside railway line bounds part of the property. The lots front Tauherenikau Road. Lots 9, 10 and 11 front the Moroa racecourse and Thomas Ingley has land bordering lots 1,5 and 6. A M Wilkinson has land bordering lots 3 and 4 and Morrison's Bush Road. Mr John Nix, whose property adjoins is said to have harvested 58 bushels of Abundance oats and 2 tons of straw. Four newspaper printed photographs are shown on the plan, noting Mr Ingley's oat and turnip crops and harvesting of the hay.
