The land lots are to be sold at auction on Wednesday April 30, 1919. Hoadley, son & Stewart Ltd with Murray, Roberts & Co Ltd - auctioneers have received instructions from the executors of the estate of the late G P Donnelly.
Land lots and area sizes are situated in the inland Patea district, 75 miles from Napier and 28 miles from Taihape. Block 5, which is the homestead block consists of a 12 roomed house with telephone available to Taihape, a woolshed with 16 stations - Wolsley machines.
The land is situated around the Napier to Taihape road, Tararua River, Kaianu Stream and Pokopoko Stream area. Block 1 - 8,170 acres borders the Tararua River, Te Kaweta Stream and 3 lakes are noted as being called Pohukura. T Morrin Esq has land at the center of the blocks for sale, bordering block 2, near the Otupae Range and Block 5. The homestead is fronting the Waiukakapau Stream. The Rangitikei River borders block 3, 4 and 5.
