About this object
An image of a whare (house) that is in a dilapidated state. The roof on the right front side is missing. A carving sits outside on the ground to the right of the epa (side window). Through the whakawae (front door) the partial loss of the left exterior wall is visible. The photograph was taken in the Taupō region on 23 January 1898.
