Plan of the Waipuna Estate land for sale.
The land lots are to be sold at auction on Saturday March 8, 1919. Hoadley, Son & Stewart Ltd with De Pelichet, McLeod & Co Ltd - auctioneers have received instructions from the executors of the estate of the late E B Williams, to sell the land.
The land lots and area sizes, which forms a portion of the original Edenham Estate are situated 20 miles from the Otane railway station and 4 miles from Elsthorpe township. The homestead block has an eleven roomed house with electric lights, men's quarters etc.
The land is around the Mangakuri Stream, the Ponui Stream and the road to Kairakau. The Mangakuri Station is at the South end, bordering Castle block and C Cato Esq has land at the North end bordering the Waipuna block. G F Hardy Esq has land bordering the Waipuna and Spring Bush block at the Western side. The homestead is on the Waipuna block, which is said to be well fed by streams.
