On the left side of the street stands the Union Bank of Australia, followed by the premises of McGruer and Company Limited (drapers), Blythes Limited (drapers, milliners and house furnishers) and Ross and Glendining Limited (warehousemen and importers). Along the right side of the street is the Criterion Hotel.
