About this object
This photograph depicts a close up view of the Dalgety's building in Napier after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on 3rd of February 1931.
The building, located on the corner of Dalton and Dickens Streets, was one of the few that survived the earthquake. Some damage to the building can be seen just above the entrance way, a fracture in the exterior.
