About this object
Image of a camp with two tents and one more permanent thatched structure to the left hand side, possibly a Pataka / storehouse. Two men stand outside the tent in the centre right of the image. There is native bush in the background and flax in the foreground. Taken somewhere in the Waikato during or shortly after the Waikato War in the New Zealand Wars.
