About this object
This photograph depicts the fountain in Clive Square after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February 1931. Clive Square lies between Carlyle and Dickens Streets in the Central Business District of Napier, and the fountain still stands today. In the background of the photograph Munroe Street can be seen.
