About this object
View of Dalton Street thought to have been taken between 1932 and 1938. The focus of the photograph is Masson House, which was built in the art deco style in 1932 to designs by local architect E A Williams. His name and designation are written on the window of his office in the Dalgety's Building to the right, also designed by E A Williams and built in 1926. Businesses visible along the street include Kelly's Kash Stores Limited and Hector McGregor Limited (electricians).
