A file with a cover page headed: Gill, H P. This file contains a copy of a memorandum, and a reply regarding an application for relief by H P Gill to the Hawke's Bay Earthquake Relief Fund.
A copy of a memorandum dated 25 June 1931 from D P T to Mr Coad. This memorandum concerns two accounts submitted by Mr H P Gill to the Hastings Committee which he considers should be paid by the Relief Fund. The author enquires as to whether payments were made to Dr Scoular or Wairarapa Hospital Board.
A reply dated 30 June 1931 from Mr A R Coad to the Hastings Committee. This letter informs that Dr Scoular's account has not been paid. It also advises on injuries to Mr Gill's wife and daughter and states that if their injuries are attributable to the earthquake, the claim for maintenance will be paid out of relief funds.
