About this object
Image taken from Marewa looking toward the Napier hills, or Scinde Island, pre-1900. The photograph is taken from the west of present day George's Drive before land reclamation began. On the left edge of the hills Simla Terrace can be seen. J.D Ormond's house, Timtagel, is just visible on the skyline near the right edge of the image.
