Brief Description
A file containing a letter, copies of letters and a memorandum relating to an application to the Earthquake Relief committee for payment of an invoice, for liquor supplied for hospital purposes after the earthquake. The file has a cover page headed: Dwan, T B:

Copy of letter, from Secretary, Tiffen Park House, to Mr T B Dwan, P O Box 23, Wellington. Subject: an account for liquor supplied by order of Major T McKibbon. The letter informs Mr Dwan that the goods were paid for on an account rendered by Messrs F G Smith and Company Limited, Port Ahuriri and that F G Smith and Company Limited have requested Mr Dwan's account be forwarded in order for them to arrange payment. The letter is signed by the secretary, surname Douglas. Dated: 30 April 1931.

Copy of letter, from Chairman, to Messrs F G Smith and Company Limited, Port Ahuriri. Subject: an account for beer supplied by T B Dwan. The letter advises that the Relief Committee had already been invoiced for the goods by F G Smith and Company Limited and that the author understands F G Smith and Company Limited are arranging payment to Mr Dwan. Dated: 30 April 1931.

Memorandum, to Mr Douglas. A handwritten note to Mr Douglas regarding T B Dwan's account and a request from F G Smith and Company Limited to forward the account to them for remittance to Mr Dwan. Initialled and dated: 30 April 1931.
