The three sites have frontages of 20 feet each to Hastings Street and forms part of the property formerly occupied by the Hawke's Bay Motor Co Ltd, as stables. The 3 lots are in front of the Empire stables, adjacent to Sargood sons & Ewen and Schofield & McDougall. The Caledonian Hotel is next to Schofield & McDougall, fronting Hastings Street.
