The land blocks sit astride the road from Napier to Havelock North & Hastings - 4 1/2 miles distant and land occupied by natives. The general area is situated 1 mile from the Mangateretere school and convenient to Farndon and the Whakatu railway station. Lot 1 consists of the homestead of 11 rooms, workshop, stables and men's cottage.
