The lands are to be sold at auction on Saturday November 27,1909. C B Hoadley & son with New Zealand Loan & Mercantile Co Ltd, auctioneers have been instructed by M H Strachan to sell. The whole estate will be divided into nine blocks from 340 acres to 1,280 acres.
Land lots and area sizes are situated in the Waimata Valley, 20 miles from the port of Gisborne, around the Waimata River, Makahakaha Stream and the Kiori sheep farming Co. E Murphy has land bordering block 2, called the Totara Paddock and J Tombleson has land bordering block 7 and 8 at the South end.
