The lands are to be sold at auction on Saturday October 23,1909. C B Hoadley & son with Wenley & Lanauze Ltd, auctioneers have been instructed by C L Mackersey to sell about 1,000 acres, subdivided into 27 allotments.
Land lots and area sizes are situated 1/2 mile from Pakipaki railway station and 6 miles from Hastings, around the Kahumoko Stream and West of Borthwicks Freezing Works. The Longlands Estate is adjoining land along one side and the Poukawa Estate on the South end. C J Baker has land near the freezing works, bordering the land lots. W G Stead and J McFarlane have adjoining land bordering the land lots, northwards.
