Brief Description
Plan of portion of the Gwavas Estate for sale. The land blocks are to be sold by public auction on Wednesday January 13, 1909. C B Hoadley & Son have been instructed by A S G Carlyon, Esquire to sell the land lots, which will be subdivided into three blocks of 1,686 acres: Block 1, 2, 119 acres - Block 2, 4,680 acres - Block 3.
The land is situated about six miles from Hampden and sixteen miles from Waipawa railway station, around the Poporangi Stream, Hampden - Maraekakaho Road, Kereru - Hampden Road. E C Clarkson, Esquire has land bordering Block 1 of the Gwavas Estate, at the North East and E N Knapp, Esquire borders Blocks 2 and 3 at the North West end. H Duff has land bordering Block 3 and adjoining E N Knapp's property.
J Matheson, Esquire borders Block 3 at the South West end, adjoining also the other part of the Gwavas Estate at the South end.
