Brief Description
A postcard addressed to: Old Beale from Nan and Dad.
Master Hobson was in the Shrimpton Ward of Napier Public Hospital at the time. In the note Nan asks what he thinks of the card and the nasty German on the front. The front of the card has an allied solider with a rifle over his shoulder holding the shoulder of a cowering German soldier. It reads: To be taken by the army every day.
There is a red one penny stamp attached to the top right hand corner and it has been franked.
Date, 22 May 1917, Napier.
